The world is full of exciting wonders. This week we will explore biological responses, chemistry, physics and more. There is sure to be an explosion or two with lots of ooohs and awwwws and lots of laughs.

Planet Earth - July 23 to July 27

Earth rotates at a steady beat with the sun rising at predictable times every day. We will explore what makes our planet so unique including weather systems, ecosystems, and animal diversity.  We will also be learning about how each animal fits into their ecosystem and how they all play important roles in maintaining the balance in the Web of Life.

Pollinator Heroes -July 30 to August 3

The focus for this week is about how all living things play an equally important part in the overall ecosystem of habitats. Whether it’s a mushroom, a mosquito, a rabbit, or a fox each has an important role in maintaining the balance in the Web of Life.

What’s in the Water? - Aug 6 to Aug 10

If you put your goggles on and dive under the surface, you will quickly learn that there is a whole unique world in the water. We will be learning about what animals live in these watery ecosystems and the adaptations they possess to be successful.

Claws or Paws - Aug 13 to Aug 17

Animal Adaptations
In the wild, animals have challenges they have to overcome every day. We will learn about these challenges and the adaptations that have evolved to ensure survival. Campers will also have to figure out how to overcome some challenges of their own.

Slimy yet Satisfying - Aug 20 to Aug 24

Animals get their nutritional requirements from a vast range of foods such as plants, insects, or by preying on other animals. We will explore how each animal gets exactly what they need from their strange diets and what adaptations they may have developed to make up for what they can’t get.
