Learn & Explore at the
New York State Zoo

On-site EdZOOcation

During these 30 minute programs, students gather in our classroom to learn about wildlife biology and ecology through up-close encounters with our animal ambassadors. Including allowing your students to explore the zoo at their own pace, we offer a variety of activities to enrich your experience while at the zoo: through onsite programs, a guided tour, or even a Butterfly House tour.

Our programs have been designed to meet New York State education standards. Most programs are focused toward elementary audiences, however, programs for older audiences may be arranged upon request. Programs can also be specifically designed to cater to curriculum needs and enhance classroom learning
