Doc is the name of our snowy owl on exhibit.
Although their population is slowly decreasing, snowy owls are currently classified as population stable.
During the winter, they are seen in the Northern United States, however during warmer seasons the populations push north into Alaska and Canada.
Owls typically eat small rodents and insects, frogs, snakes, and small birds.
Snowy Owls are famous for their bright white feathers. Their big eyes allow them to see their prey in most conditions.
