Teachers or groups may opt to plan a field trip to the NYS Zoo, which includes all-day zoo admission offered at a special group rate: $2.25 per child for grades K-6 and $4.50 for grades 6-12.  One chaperone for every 10 children is admitted for free.  Additional chaperones pay the discounted adult rate of $4.50.

You may also wish to add a 30-minute educational program to your field trip,  which features live animal demonstrations.  Or, let us take you on a guided zoo tour.  Please refer to the link for “School Programs” to learn more about these options.

Teachers, check out our Scavenger Hunts for your upcoming Field Trip!  Grades K through 3 can learn about Diurnal Animals, while grades 4 through 8 can go on a hunt through our Discovery Center and Children's Farm.
