| There's still time to donate to the Annual Sustaining Campaign! |
2009 was a great year, we need your support to make sure 2010 is just as great!
Why
Does the Zoo Matter?
The
on-going protection of our natural heritage
requires a community which values those resources and works to protect
them. The New York State Zoo helps reconnect kids and their families with nature,
ensuring that the lives of our children and grandchildren will be as
rich as ours are today.
What
does the Zoo Do?
Provides enriching, engaging people each year, and reaches
over 30,000 people with outreach programs at schools, libraries and
community centers across the region.
Maintains a diverse animal collection of native species using best
practices techniques and standards.
We
Need You
Remember where the zoo was twenty years ago and take just a moment to
revel in where it is today. Now is the time to step up and secure the
future. A fabulous zoo has been built, now we need to sustain it.
Thanks for your Support
