Public education programs

The conservation and education messages of the New York State Zoo are integrated with the institution’s mission to inspire conservation and fascination with the rich heritage of New York’s native wildlife and habitats, through interactive educational experiences and scientific study.

The following programs use live-animal demonstrations, biofacts, and hands-on activities to inspire appreciation and respect for our natural world.  Programs range from 30 minutes to 1 hour in duration.
